Our Chinese Restaurant in Edinburgh, “The Manor House”, was established in 2002 and since then we have built up a good reputation through word of mouth by, a still increasing, group of regular customers who thoroughly enjoy our food. They recognise and enjoy the quality of our dishes which are prepared daily with fresh ingredients under the supervision of our excellent head chef.

In 2020 we won Best Chinese Restaurant Edinburgh as voted by the readers of The Edinburgh Evening News.  A fantastic accolade to add to our website. A very difficult year for all but we engaged and helped with free meals in the local community.

Chinese restaurant Edinburgh: A great restaurant for tourists and locals alike!

Besides our local customers we also serve many visitors from all parts of the country and abroad who are either in Edinburgh on business or leisure. This is due to our convenient location which is very close to the airport. We are also easily accessible by car or public transport. Local Bed & Breakfast and hotels highly recommend us and the fact that many visitors return year after year gives an indication that dining in our restaurant is a very pleasant and enjoyable experience.

We also sell gift vouchers which are popular for birthday and Christmas presents. Our Hogmanay dinner is a well-known popular event for our local and regular customers and is always well booked months in advance.

For people who don’t have enough time to eat in the restaurant we also prepare food to take-away so you’ll still be able to enjoy our delicious food in the surroundings of your own home.

One of Edinburgh’s best Chinese restaurant

We believe customer satisfaction is very important and are always aiming to make sure that dining in our restaurant is a unique experience. We very much appreciate customer feedback and suggestions so that we can continue to give the highest service and quality possible.
